We do not book garden tables this time of year but they can still be used if the weather is suitable.

PLEASE NOTE - we may close slightly earlier than advertised if we are quiet at the end of the day

 

About us

Our delightful country cottage pub is set below the South Downs between the historic town of Lewes and the seaside resort of Eastbourne.

The bustling city of Brighton and Hove is a 20-minute drive and the quaint village of Alfriston is only 2 miles away.

We serve a wide selection of traditional homemade food dishes and Harveys real Ales every lunchtime and evening from Monday to Saturday and on Sundays, fantastic Roasts with our core menu between 12pm-6pm.

You will be assured a warm welcome as we pride ourselves on the service we provide.

We are dog friendly as long as they are kept on a short lead at all times and well behaved. Our dining areas are fairly cosy so please bring only one dog per booking if you are eating inside. More than one dog is fine if outside and kept on a lead at all times.
